Rick, thank you so very much for producing this, to me, most amazing artwork. Like Paul Engle, I served with the 138th Aviation Company (RR) during the period of 1970-1971. I served with the Army Pilots who flew this aircraft as the company Avionics Officer. I remember "Badass II", but unfortunately do not recall the individual/s who may have named her. The RU-8D was the workhorse of the 138th, and for some time of the entire 224th Aviation Battalion. A lot of good people served with us, and some did not come home. I feel this is a very deserving tribute to all of those who served in Vietnam. You have done a remarkable job!
Rick Blyseth replied:
Thank you for taking a moment to let me know that! It serves to remind me while I am working on these projects the hard work, danger, and sacrifice that real people made for the rest of us. May it never be forgotten!

My first view sent chills down my back as I was instantly transported back to 1971 Phu Bai . Well done indeed Andrew ! You have captured the Pink Panther in tact !!!
Rick Blyseth replied:
Thank you Paul for your kind words. one of the hardest parts of what I do is pass the muster of the guys that were actually there and witnessed first hand.
